Prima Express, Inc. is a rapidly growing company looking to expand its fleet capacity. We are always looking for QUALITY, Class A CDL drivers with prior experience to run dry freight. Come be a part of our family!
A $1000 signup bonus will be paid in following order: $200 after 1 delivery, $400 after 3 months, $400 after another three months (based on at least 6 months of employment). We offer medical and life benefits. All drivers are paid $0.44 for loaded miles and $0.30 for empty miles. Detention is paid at $15 an hour after 2 hours of waiting and you will earn $25 for each additional stop. Are you looking to make some extra money? We offer a $1000 referral bonus to any driver that brings on another driver we hire( inquire about the details at the office). The money is payable to you assuming you and your referral stay with us for 9 months.
Payday is Friday for the previous week. Paychecks unfortunately cannot be processed until all paperwork has been submitted to the office. This is including but not limited to bills of lading, trip envelopes, fuel tickets, and expense receipts. All paperwork must be turned into the office by Friday, no later than 5pm central time, to receive payment the following Friday. Paychecks can be deposited directly into your account on Thursday-Friday night if it is more convenient for you.
Prima Express, Inc. promotes a happy and safe workplace. We are honest and up front with our employees and expect the same in return. There are a few company policies that you need to be aware of that are necessary to protect the best interest of our company. First, to ensure the safety of you and other drivers on the road, all trucks are governed at 64 miles an hour. Second is an escrow of $1000 is held 45 days after the voluntary or involuntary end of employment as a safety deposit. This is collected by deducting $50 from the first 20 pay checks. The money will be returned to you after the 45 days assuming all equipment was returned back to us in the manner it was given to you. Third, a $2000 deductible applies to drivers who are found at fault in an accident. If the damage is of lesser value, the amount will only apply to the amount of the damage. Finally, you will be responsible for a pre-employment drug test charge of $67, however if you stay with the company for 6 months you will be reimbursed.
